29 years old born on August 8, 1973 in Chisinau or Kishinev, Moldova (former Soviet Union). In 1994 Rogozenko graduated from the Sport University in Chisinau and received a diploma as a Sport Teacher.
Dorian first started playing chess at the age of six and first went to chess training (at a chess school) at the age of nine. Later he became the pupil of Moldavia's most famous coach, Vecheslav Chebanenko.
Best FIDE rating on 1.07.1999: 2576.
Multiple junior champion of Moldavia.
Best results: Moldavian Champion 1994, winner of the following international tournaments: Moscow GM tournament 1992, Chemnitz open 1997, Bucharest GM tournament 1998, Eforie open 1998; co-winner: Lvov 1995, Hamburg 1997, 2000.
Several times Champion of Romania with the team RATB; second place in the Netherland Team Competition in year 2001, as a member of Bussum team.
Four times participated in Chess Olympiads: three times for Moldavian team, once for Romanian team (second board) in the Chess Olympiad in Istanbul 2000.
