The new version 18 offers completely new possibilities for chess training and analysis: playing style analysis, search for strategic themes, access to 6 billion Lichess games, player preparation by matching Lichess games, download Chess.com games with built-in API, built-in cloud engine and much more.
In the first round all three of the favourites were only able to draw, Shredder against the American freeware program Crafty, Fritz against Deep Sjeng and Junior against the German program Jonny. In round two Shredder beat the German ParSOS and Junior the British program Woodpusher, while Fritz, after an enterprising game, only got a disappointing draw with black against IsiChess.
