Vishy Anand won everything in the Fourteenth Amber Blindfold and Rapid Chess:
he finished the blindfold section two points ahead of the field (specifically
Ivanchuk, Leko, Topalov, Vallejo and Morozevich sharing second) and with an
Elo performance of just under 2900. In the rapid chess section he was only
half a point ahead of Morozevich, who won his eleventh round game but failed
to catch Anand, who drew Gelfand to clinch outright first place. His performance
here was equivalent to a player rated 2850 on the Elo scale. And in the overall
tally Anand finished two points ahead of Alexander Morozevich and three ahead
of Ivanchuk and Leko. Here are all three cross tables:
