Daniel Pulvett wins Junior Championship for the blind

by ChessBase
6/25/2009 – Being blind or visually impaired does not mean you cannot enjoy chess. Naturally the games cannot be conducted as in normal events – the blind need a separate pegged board which they can touch during the games. And the moves are naturally exchanged verbally. The Junior Chess Championship for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Täby/Stockholm was won by Daniel Pulvett of Venezuela.
